iPhone: Germany

I went to Germany for three weeks last summer… I know, I am way late in making this post. I’m still trying to build the whole blogging, social networking thing into my workflow. I’ll get there eventually. Anywhooo, while I did take my regular camera gear, I wound up shooting mostly with my iPhone. I don’t know why this seems to happen. Technically I was on vacation but I think I really just enjoy the mobility the iPhone offers. Not to mention the blend into the crowd factor. I could literally be dangling from a building, taking a shot with my iPhone and most people would probably ignore me. But when I’m out and about with my typical gear, two cameras, multiple lenses, etc, it changes things. I prefer to be as unnoticeable as possible. Since I tend shoot primarily in the wide to normal range, I’ve been daydreaming about transitioning to a Leica M9 system…one day. In the meantime, I may have to checkout the Fuji X-Pro 1.

Here are a few of my favs. I used the Hipstamatic app..love it.

Here’s a slideshow of the full set.
